The Raymar Family
We are a mother-daughter family business of artists. Our passionate staff works hard to meticulously craft and deliver our archival panels to you. While we would not exist without our entire staff, we invite you to meet the creative female forces behind Raymar.
Emilie C. Dietrich Owner / Creative Director / Artist
Emilie is the owner of Raymar and the artistic, business brains that drives us. Emilie cares deeply about her creative community. It is her personal mission and passion to add more beauty and meaning to the world with art. By working directly with artists to discover their needs, she sources the finest materials from around the world to craft our panels. It is her hope that with the right materials and support, artists can bring their creative visions to life.
Prior to Raymar, Emilie graduated from the University of Notre Dame’s business school and became a foreign exchange and commodity broker with the Chicago Board of Trade. Financially successful yet creatively stifled, she left finance in search of a more artistic life and attended Parsons School of Design in NYC. In 2008, Emilie was called to carry on her family's business. Emilie took up the reins of Raymar and has grown our company into one of the leading producers of archival art panels in the industry.
Emilie also serves on the Board of Director of ArtLink, a non-profit that connects artists with business and community in Arizona, is a judge in several international art competitions including the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize and the Almenara Art Prize, and is a co-owner of Scottsdale Ferrari Art Week.
You will also find Emilie painting watercolors, portrait modeling for artists, hosting dinner parties, playing classical piano or collecting her next passport stamp.
Catherine Dietrich Founder / Artist
Catherine is the creative idea master behind Raymar and the reason we exist. She loves to dream up new products and art solutions. Her ultimate goal is to provide her fellow artists with the best supplies so they are free to create.
With Emilie running the company, these days you will mostly find Catherine passionately painting in her studio. A true artist since birth, she beats to her own creative drum. Catherine draws inspiration from many artists, but her favorites include Pierre Bonnard, Edouard Vuillard and the Bay Area Figurative Artists.
Catherine also loves to work in her beautiful rose garden, pen short stories, visit art museums, attend the symphony and ballet, interior decorate and travel to Paris.
